The thing about mourning (grief expressed) is that it can look like a lot of different things. Having a service can be part of it and/or….. crying, laughing, writing, drawing, walking, running, sleeping, swimming, hiking, planting, weeding, driving, remembering, forgetting, being silent, being loud, crafting, painting, wearing black (or not). The most important thing is to accept that this is now part of things, part of your life. Grief has to be expressed. It’s better out than in. But. There is no one right way. There is only your way.
